Film and Television Photography and Production (Sino-foreign Joint Education)
This program adopts the talent cultivation model of Film and Television Photography and Production + English + Art Creativity, integrating the advanced educational concepts and teaching management system of Eastern Institute of Technology (EIT), New Zealand. Adhering to the concept of technology empowerment, Sino-Western integration and innovation, it aims to cultivate high-level applied, integrated and international film and television professionals with good ideological and moral character, professional ethics and film and television aesthetic literacy, who master professional knowledge of modern film and television production technology, digital content creation, international project collaboration, etc., and have capabilities in film and television drama development, cross-media image production, intelligent technology application and international production management. After graduation, they can engage in film and television creation, special effects production, virtual production, project planning and cross-border collaboration in domestic and foreign film and television institutions, streaming media platforms, and cultural media enterprises.
Professional Competencies and Qualities:
1.Have good English application ability and cross-cultural communication literacy, which meets the needs of international film and television project collaboration;
2.Systematically master the basic theories of film and television art and core production skills of screenwriting, directing, shooting, recording and editing, and can independently complete the whole process of film and television creation;
3.Proficient in digital film and television production technology and cutting-edge skills such as virtual production and special effects production, and have the ability to innovate in film and television art;
4.Have team spirit, humanistic aesthetic literacy and a sense of industry responsibility, which meets the talent standards of the international film and television industry.
Employment Prospects and Directions:
1.Serve as core positions such as screenwriter, director, photographer, editor, and film and television art designer in film companies, production crews, and advertising media agencies, and participate in the whole process production of films, TV dramas, short videos, and advertising films;
2.Engage in film and television program planning, cultural project operation, art teaching and aesthetic education promotion in TV stations, media convergence centers, cultural centers and other units;
3.Pursue postgraduate studies in this major or related majors at home and abroad, and go overseas for further study in film and television production, art creativity, digital media and other related directions.
